Get in, sit down, and go. No keys, buttons, paddles or modes. You select drive or reverse, the car is smart enough to deliver power when and where you want it, and the response such that there is no need for anything more.

You can adjust the amount of regenerative braking through the ‘one pedal’ mode setting, which will slow the car without needing to use the brake pedal when you lift off the throttle.

In traffic, this can work well to manage your speed and conserve energy use, but at very low speeds like parking, it can feel a bit awkward. If the car is on an incline and you are naturally expecting to roll either back or forward when parking, the one-pedal mode will necessitate you ‘accelerating’ toward a wall or car or pole, with no traditional creep forward feature available with one-pedal driving.
